Identify the manufacturer based on a network interface's MAC address


A MAC (Media Access Control) address is a unique identifier assigned to network interfaces for communication on a network. It is a 12-digit number typically expressed as six pairs of hexadecimal digits (e.g. 01:23:45:67:89:ab). The first half of a MAC address, called the OUI (Organizationally Unique Identifier), identifies the manufacturer of the device.
